Encouragement and Support for Olympians

Power House of sports Haryana,

81 players contingent participated in London Olympic out of them 22 are from Haryana and four players among them won medals Sushil Kumar Sillver medal winner and Yogeshwer Dutt Bronze Winner ( Wrestlers ) Saina Nehwal Bronze Winner ( Badminton ) and Gagan Narang Bronze Winner ( Shooting ) All belongs to Haryana.


Chef Minister of Haryana also rewarded london Olympic medaliest and other perticipants from Haryana who played in London Olympics.

Sushil Kumar Silver medal winner London Olympic awarded by Cash reward of Rs 1.5 crore, Audi luxury car and other prizes.
Yogeshwar Dutt, Saina Nehwal and Gagan Narang all bronze medal winners london olympic awrded by cash reward of Rs 1 crore, Audi Luxury car and other prizes.
Krishna Poonia, Woman discus thrower finished 7th in olympic get cash prize of Rs. 31 lakh and car (Maruti SX4) 
Vijender Singh, boxer Quterfinalist of london olympic were given Rs. 21 lakh and car (Maruti SX4) 

Geeta Phogat, woman wrestler and youngest wrestler Amit Kumar reward of Rs. 21 lakh each. and car (Maruti SX4) 

The Other olympian of haryana state Annu Raj Singh and Sanjeev Rajput (shooting), Garima Choudhary (judo), Sumit Sangwan, Vikas Krishan, Manoj Kumar and Jai Bhagwan (boxing), Om Prakash and Seema Antil (athletics), Sandeep Singh and Sardar Singh (hockey) took home a Cash Prize of Rs. 11 lakh and car (Maruti SX4) 

The Tottal Prize of Rs 6 corore 65 lakhs were given to all Olympian from Hryana.

The Haryana Government is providing best infrastructure and support to there sportsman's. they have 11 residential and 30 day bording center running in Haryan for differnt sports and also having almost 300 stadiums.

The Government of Haryana concentarting on three main aim to promote sports in there state infrestructure, tallent search and asurance of future of sportsmen, Now there mission for Rio Olympic is at least 12 gold medals for india from Haryana players.

Chief Minister of Haryana also unannounced that the medal winner of London Olympic are provided with land and Infrastructural support to open there academies in state he also mentioned that the new recruitment of 700 coaches this year to assure the best coaching base in Haryana.

The population of Haryana is only 2% of Indian population but they proved that they are best in sports and provide best support and encouragement to there players, If other state of India shows similar support to there players and promote sports in there states then  i am sure the future of Indian sports is bright.
